Delete your Kluvan account
Kluvan, made by BytesGlue Software Services and Solutions FZCO, lets you delete your account and all of your organisation's data at any time, on the website or in the Kluvan Android app. Here is how, and what happens to your data.
If you are the organisation's owner

Sign in at app.kluvan.com in any browser, or open the Kluvan app.

Open Settings → Data. Download a copy first if you want to keep one.

Under Delete the account, tick “I understand the account will be deleted” and confirm.

We wait 7 days in case you change your mind; until then you can cancel on the same page. Then we delete the organisation's data.
If you are a team member
There is no button for a team member to delete their own user, because the user belongs to the organisation. Ask its owner or a manager to deactivate you under Team → Users: your sign-in stops at once. To have your name, e-mail address and phone number removed as well, write to hello@kluvan.com from your account's e-mail address. We pass the request to your organisation and answer you within 30 days.
If you cannot sign in
Write to hello@kluvan.com from your account's e-mail address, with your organisation's name, and ask us to delete the account. We check that the address is the owner's, reply within 3 working days, and delete the account in the same way, after the same 7 days.
What is deleted
- Every record of the organisation in every app: customers, suppliers, products, invoices and quotes, bookings, projects, documents and files, messages, employees and HR records.
- Every user and their sign-in, the organisation's settings and its connections (such as WhatsApp, Google and payments).
- Uploaded files and pictures. Copies in our backups disappear as those backups expire (see below).
What is kept, and for how long
- The invoices we issued to your organisation for Kluvan, and the payment records behind them: five years, as accounting law requires.
- A short record that the deletion happened (the organisation's name, the owner's e-mail address in a masked form, and the dates), so we can answer questions about it later.
- Backups: each daily backup expires 35 days after it was made, so deleted data is gone from every backup within 35 days.
If you stop paying
When a trial or a subscription ends without payment, the organisation becomes read-only, and its data is deleted 90 days later in the same way. Write to us if you want it deleted sooner.
