Yes. Each billing cycle creates a compliant tax invoice in Books and attaches the payment receipt once the charge or payment link succeeds.
What happens if a customer upgrades or pauses mid-month?
Subscriptions calculates proration automatically for plan changes and adjusts the next cycle invoice without manual spreadsheet math.
How does Subscriptions handle failed card payments?
Declined auto-charges retry on a backoff schedule and trigger polite dunning notifications (respecting quiet hours) before pausing the subscription.
Can customers see their active subscriptions in the Customer Portal?
Yes. Customers can view their subscription status, billing history, and open renewal invoices directly inside the Customer Portal.
